[Yuu enters the library about half an hour later. It takes him a couple minutes to find Izaya.]

[If Izaya had a swivel chair at this moment, he would be spinning in it. Instead, he's playing like how a three year old might if they had their tineh hands on a chess set.

But he looks up and smiles when he hears Yuu.]

Hey! Go ahead and sit down.

[Yuu takes a seat across from him, looking at the chessboard.]

Um...do you have any idea how to play this game?

Of course I do. [Evidenced by the fact that he begins reassembling the pieces into proper place instead of just making them death match.]

Why, do you not?

Just wondering. [Yuu moves some pieces over to his side of the board.]

I have an idea of how it works.

It doesn't matter too much if there's mistakes. Or I won't care anyway.

Alright. [He sets the last of his pieces in place and looks at Izaya expectantly.]

[Likewise, Izaya finishes setting up the pieces of his side of the board and since Yuu isn't going first, he will. a7 to a6. And we're also not playing out a chess game pfft.]

So, are you healed up yet? It has been a while.

[I was going to say, DON'T MAKE ME GO FIND A CHESS BOARD. Yuu makes some move, idk.]

Yeah, pretty much.

[l-lol. Actually for like all of 2 seconds I was thinking we should go find an online chessboard that records all the moves anyway....BUT WE WON'T. The game continues.]
