[Izaya's sitting against the Mansion's front doors, and most noticeably he's switched out his trademark jacket for one much less obvious. He doesn't seem too concerned with anything at the moment and he very much takes his time in fishing out his communicator and switching it on.

Anyone know how long it's been since this started?

[As confused as Yuu is right now, it's not hard. He stumbles toward Izaya, dropping the pry bar in his hand.]

[Izaya ditches the hand holding in favor of grabbing onto the back of Yuu's jacket. His previously useless hand seems to have been concealing his knife rather than protecting his side, and, oh look, that knife seems to be quite open.

That blade is very close to Yuu's face.]

If you want to run, you can try that. But if you want to give up, that's fine too.

[Yuu is frozen, staring at Izaya in shocked silence. After several rather loud heartbeats, he finally moves, jerking away from the blade, though he can't get too far with the way Izaya's holding onto his jacket.]

I-Izaya....

[~~Is it like a NIGHTMARE before? See what I did there?~~

Juvia puts her hand to her mouth to try and hide her blush. Because she is shy around cute guys. But hey, someone needs help and she's a member of Fairy Tail now! Even if the guild's not here...]

[She extends a white gloved hand, which I'd like to point out will stain quite easily~]

Yeah, yeah. Shizu-chan's the same as always; dumb and easy to get away from. [Or you know, dead in some room on the first floor. Same thing.]

[Minato didn't think he should be surprised to hear that or the casual term of address.]

Yuu? [The smile isn't fading from his face as he takes advantage of Yuu's shock to keep dragging him around the room and indefinitely away from that pry bar.]

I'm not one of your choices. [The knife is flicked open and closed several times in a motion too well practiced.]

Hey...I know this sounds pretty awful of me, but do you know of somewhere safer to get to? I'm a little tired of pretending I blend into the shadows.

[As you know, grown adults aren't supposed to ask help, even indirect, from school kids.]

[Yuu finally remembers how to move his limbs and manages to jerk away from Izaya.

Guess which option he's going to pick?

[Shadows, fff. Aw, Izaya, aren't you "supposedly" only 21 ~~23? 25?~~? Not that much older than Minato. He doesn't mind helping either.]

Anywhere is safer if you're not by yourself. There should be rooms on the higher floors that are safer than the first couple floors.

[So Izaya's got a knife. Which is fine, great, and he loves it. But at this point in the game he's also had the forethought to grab a few more.

Which he's now throwing at Yuu.

Mostly to kindly direct him towards the stairs.]

[laskdfjdsf Yuu gets one of those knives in the arm as he's trying to get that pry bar back and yeah. Looks like it'll be the stairs after all.]

[Excellent choice, Yuu. Izaya's not far behind him, though his path deviates a little.

You know. When he decides to run up the stair railing, jump up to the top bar and swing himself up the the first floor.]

[omfg Izaya, you are a beast.

Yuu stops two-thirds of the way up the flight, then backs down a couple steps.]

[Now above him, Izaya skips down the first few steps.]

Careful, Aikawa~! You might fall.

[Yuu keeps retreating and takes a deep breath.]

Why...why do you want to kill me?

I don't get anything for that great show I put on? [Izaya oh so casually decides he's going to sit on the railing now.]

But I guess the real answer is that I want to know what you look like when you die!

[Though sheer willpower, Izaya can totally stay 21 forever. Yup.]

Higher floors, huh? Yeah, I could make it there eventually.

[Yuu just can't wrap his mind around whether or not that sentiment is totally event-induced or not. Not right now anyway. He's too busy sprinting back down the stairs now.]

[You will be 21 forever to me, bb. And well, "eventually" isn't all that great a time frame.]

I can meet with you and take you there if you'd like.

[Izaya throws a stray knife, a potshot, at Yuu which embeds itself in the far wall before giving chase by sliding down the railing and jumping the rest of the way.]

Heyy~! Not good enough?

Eh...[He looks to be considering.]

If you'd cover my back while I got there, that'd be all sorts of great.

[Yuu nearly falls on his face at the bottom of the stairs, but keeps running, going back to where he dropped the stupid pry bar.]

Okay.

[Minato had his Evoker with him. He thought that it'd be fine as he hadn't run into anyone else that was dangerous. He headed out of his room and down to where Izaya was.]

[Izaya's leaning against the railing at the base of the stairs. Yuu's going to have to go somewhere eventually, and at that time, he'll chase him.]

So, are you gonna kill me?
